Lymphatic Drainage

...Amazing...Light.  Described as "pushing water through sand", lymphatic drainage massage addresses the body's lymphatic system.  This delicate system is tremendously important; an integral part of our immune system.  As with the circulatory system, the lymphatic system has a network of vessels which carries the precious lymph fluid, regulating the body's level of hydration and transporting essential elements.  Unlike the circulatory system, the lymphatic system is regulated by subtle pressure and temperature.  Massage, exercise, hydrotherapy, even body positioning are all ways this system can be affected.

While at first it may not feel like much is happening during a session, lymphatic massage often comes to be recognized as profoundly beneficial.  As you can imagine, you can't rush pushing water through sand. Therefore, lymphatic massage can be made more affordable when taught by the practitioner to the client or someone who provides care for the client.  Depending upon factors, this could take the form of one or more sessions as determined individually.  This way, the recipient's lymphatic system can be positively impacted more regularly.
